Friends of a mother found dead at her home are in the middle of a tearful prayer vigil.
People who knew Charito Cruz are meeting every night at a Roman Catholic church in New Malden, not far from where the 39-year-old Filipino carer and mother-of-one was found dead.
Her partner Muhammed Asad Niaz, 29, appeared at the Old Bailey on Friday, September 30, accused of murdering his partner by hitting her on the head repeatedly with a hammer.
